Yuwie Social Networking FAQ Yuwie is the worlds first social networking site that pays its users for being active - writing blogs, making friends, viewing members profiles etc etc. It is very much like MySpace but whereas MySpace keeps all the advertising revenue they generate, Yuwie shares a proportion of their revenue with members. Is Yuwie a scam ? No, it's not. It has a realistic business model. Yuwie takes a cut of the advertising revenue they generate and pass on the remainder to the members. As the revenue Yuwie receives fluctuates then the payout to members fluctuates. Has anyone received a payout ? Yes - members who have been with the site a few months have received a cheque or payment into their Paypal account and posted pictures of the cheques on Yuwie. I want to get rich quick - can Yuwie help ? The simple answer is NO. Yuwie is not a get rich quick scheme it is a social networking site - however, over time ( many months) and with hard work, it could be possible to make a few hundred dollars a month, but it takes dedication and work. I want to post some xxx pics.....can I ? It is against the Terms Of Service to post sexually provocative, indecent or objectionable pictures. If you do so your account will be locked until you remove them, or your account may even be deleted. What is a referral ? A person you invite to Yuwie and they sign up is known as a referral. They are like gold dust :) Treasure them because they are your route to success on Yuwie. In addition, if your referral invites someone to join and they get them to sign up, your referrals referral is yours as well ! How can I stop Yuwie sending me emails when something happens on my account ? Go to your control panel, click on the top left icon named 'account settings', click on 'notification settings' and the rest is self explanatory ! Can I advertise my business on my profile ? It is against the terms of service to do this. People have had their accounts locked for doing this. So its best not to - you can on a blog though, as long as you do not use the noticeboard to promote the blog.
How does Yuwie get the money to pay the members ? Yuwie places adverts on all the pages on the Yuwie website. Revenue is generated by the number of times the ads are shown, and when someone clicks on them. Yuwie takes a proportion of this revenue, then passes the remainder to the members. You are paid according to the number of page views you generate in a month. The more active you are the bigger your share.
